Painting in Action .JPG

Isabel Jennings was raised in a small mountain town in rural Washington. Cocooned in the closely woven community of artists, family, and friends. She was exposed and encouraged to pursue many mediums of visual arts.

In 2018, Isabel Jennings moved to Florence, Italy to study classical figurative art in a Tuscan bottega. She later graduated in the spring of 2020 with a C.F.A, Specializing in Oil Painting.
In her time with the Scuola D'Arte Sacra, she trained under Nacho Valdes, Sofia Novelli, Fernando Cidoncha, and Anthony Visco.

When she isn't climbing scaffolding painting murals for Conrad Schmitt Studios,  she prefers to be with family and friends, tending to the relationships and creative projects that inspire her.

The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance. - Aristotle
